SoCal MEGA Millions® Ticket Hits $35 Million Jackpot

SACRAMENTO – One extremely lucky California Lottery player will be having a very merry Christmas. That’s because a single ticket sold in California hit last night’s MEGA Millions jackpot and is worth a whopping $35 million!

The lucky ticket was sold at Eddie’s Liquor Jr. Market, which is located at 15105 Clark Avenue in Bellflower (Los Angeles County). Eddie’s Liquor Jr. Market will receive a bonus of one half percent, or $175,000, for selling the winning ticket. The estimated cash option amount for this ticket is $26.7 million. The ticket successfully matched the numbers 41, 28, 11, 33, 43 and the Mega number of 41.

The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their ticket, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. MEGA Millions jackpot winners have a year to claim their winnings.
