  • Woman Owes a Debt of Gratitude after Winning $1 Million!

  • Amelia Llanos has finally done it. She broke down and cried over the amazing thing that happened to her. She won $1 million on a $250 Million Cash Spectacular Scratchers® ticket.

Llanos says she will never forget how it happened. “I talked to God that day,” said Llanos, describing a prayer she said while driving in to work. “I told God, ‘Please, I love my job. I’m never gonna stop working, but help me get out of the little debts I have now and pay my bills.’” She would buy her ticket a few hours later while on her lunch break. The ticket that would turn her into a millionaire! “We can buy a house,” Llanos said. “I’m gonna pay cash. I don’t want any more bills.”

Llanos said she knew she had won moments after she bought her ticket at the Albertsons located at 30241 Golden Lantern in Laguna Niguel (Orange County).  That’s because she scratched her ticket in the parking lot and ran back into the store to have it verified. She couldn’t fully enjoy the moment until she finally made it to the California Lottery’s Santa Ana District office to claim it. “Right now I can cry. I didn’t cry the day I got the ticket. I feel relief,” said Llanos while sobbing.

Yes, she has definitely experienced a life-changing moment. “It was like a miracle for me,” Llanos said. “He helped me to take out my debts.” And a deal is a deal. Llanos said she plans to keep working, loving her job even more.
