$170,000 MEGA Millions® Ticket Sold in San Diego Still Unclaimed
Rightful Owner of Ticket Sold at Naval Base Has Only One Month Left to Claim
SACRAMENTO – You know what would be just about the greatest Valentine’s gift of all time? Finding a Lottery ticket worth $170,827. For one lucky California Lottery player in the San Diego area that could be exactly the case, but unfortunately, they have not yet found their lucky ticket…and time is running out!
It’s been five months now, and still no sign of the mystery winner of a $170,827 MEGA Millions prize from the September 14 draw. That night, one lucky player matched five of six numbers to win the aforementioned prize. The winning ticket was sold at Escape Snack Bar, which is located at 3360 32nd Street Naval Base in San Diego. Do you know someone who works or lives close by and plays the Lottery? If so, make sure they search through all their possessions. They don’t want to lose out on some serious cash!
The winning ticket successfully matched the numbers 40, 21, 51, 16 and 17, missing only the Mega number of 20.
The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their ticket, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes. This ticket will expire at the close of business March 13, 2013 and the unclaimed funds will be transferred to California schools.
