California Lucky Streak Continues With Three More Mega Millions® Wins Worth $421,000+ Each!
Two of the Lucky Tickets Purchased in the Bay Area – The Other One Sold in L.A. County
SACRAMENTO – Drought in the Golden State?! Certainly not when it comes to winning the Lottery over the past few months! And March is off to a quick start as well, as three more tickets won during last night’s Mega Millions draw. They correctly matched five of the six numbers, and are now worth $421,804 each! The winning numbers are 10-29-31-35-45. Had the tickets matched the Mega number 10, the winners would have split the $240 million jackpot!
The winning tickets were purchased at two Bay Area retailers and one in suburban Los Angeles. Here are the lucky locations:
• The Chevron located at 3632 Mt. Diablo Blvd. in Lafayette (Contra Costa County);
• Rinconada Liquors, which is located at 1480 Pollard Rd. in Los Gatos (Santa Clara County); and
• Town House, which is located at 7941 Eastern Ave. in Bell Gardens (Los Angeles County).
While nobody in our state hit last night’s Mega Millions jackpot, the good news is nobody else anywhere in the country did either. That means we have another chance to bring home even more money on Friday, because the jackpot has rolled to an enticing $270 million!
The California Lottery strongly urges the winners from last night’s draw to sign the back of their tickets in ink, obviously keep them in a safe place and visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. The winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prizes.
Mega Millions is played in California (and 42 other states, plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands). Draw times are Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. PST. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers. Please visit the California Lottery’s Mega Millions site for more information on how to play.
The mission of the California Lottery is to provide supplemental funding to California schools while simultaneously supporting local communities. More than 95 cents of every dollar spent by our players goes back to local communities in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation. The California Lottery urges its customers to play responsibly and within their budgets. If you feel you have a gambling problem, or know someone who does, you can get help at 1-800-GAMBLER.
