McClellan Powerball® Ticket Hits $60 Million Jackpot!

SACRAMENTO – Another lucky Northern California Lottery player has hit the jackpot! Last night a Powerball player in McClellan matched all six numbers to win $60 million. That makes three jackpot wins in just the last four months and puts Northern California on a hot streak!

Last night’s winning ticket matched the numbers 3, 8, 25, 47, 30 and the Powerball number 13. That ticket is now worth $60 million. The cash option is an estimated $33.9 million before federal taxes.

The ticket was sold at Tooley Oil, which is located at 5520 Dudley Boulevard Building 900 in McClellan (Sacramento County). The store owner will receive a retailer bonus of $300,000 for selling the winning ticket (picture of retailer below).

This win comes just 10 days after someone in Milpitas hit that massive $425 million Powerball jackpot (that winner has not yet come forward) and about two months after a winner in San Jose split a $648 million Mega Millions® jackpot with Georgia.

The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their tickets, keep tickets in a safe place and visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. The one closest to where the McClellan ticket was sold is our Sacramento office, which is located at 4106 East Commerce Way in Sacramento.

Powerball is a multistate game played in California (and 42 other states, plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands). Draw times are Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:59 p.m. PST. Tickets sales are suspended from 7:00 p.m. to 7:05 p.m. the day of the draw. Tickets are $2 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers. Please visit the California Lottery’s Powerball site for more information on how to play.

The mission of the California Lottery is to provide supplemental funding to California schools while simultaneously supporting local communities. More than 95 cents of every dollar spent by our players goes back to local communities in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation. The California Lottery urges its customers to play responsibly and within their budgets. If you feel you have a gambling problem, or know someone who does, you can get help at 1-800-GAMBLER.
