$350,000 Fantasy 5 Ticket Sold in Riverside Claimed by Lucky Local Woman

Marcie Churco winner

Top Prize Winner Also Won $95,000 on The Big Spin® in 2007

SACRAMENTO – Marcie Churco is a lucky Lottery player. Tuxedo Liquor in Riverside is a lucky Lottery retailer. Together, they seem to do quite well. Take last night for instance. Marcie matched all five numbers in last night’s Fantasy 5 draw. She wasted no time in claiming her $349,659 prize this afternoon.

Marcie says she found out she had won the top prize about 15 minutes after the draw last night and was “amazed and in disbelief.” She says she checked the Lottery’s website to help her select her lucky numbers. She saw 6 and 13 were lucky, so she decided to play them.

But when it came to where she would be playing those numbers that was never a question for Marcie. The retail location where she purchased her big winning ticket was Tuxedo Liquor, which is located at 5347 Arlington Avenue in Riverside. Her ticket successfully matched all five numbers – 32, 6, 2, 34 and 13.

If Tuxedo Liquor is Marcie’s favorite place to play, it’s easy to understand why. In 2007, Marcie bought a ticket at Tuxedo Liquor that sent her to the Lottery television game show at the time, The Big Spin. She won $95,000.

With the nearly $350,000 she won last night, Marcie says she plans to buy property, take care of her daughter and grandkids, and go on a trip back East to visit family.

The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their tickets, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.

Fantasy 5 offers some of the best odds of any California Lottery game. A player wins the Fantasy 5 jackpot simply by matching five numbers out of a field of 39. Winning numbers are drawn every day. The top prize starts at $50,000 and increases daily until it is hit. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers.

And be sure to participate in the California Lottery’s Fantasy 5 Bonus Bucks promotion. For every purchase of $5 or more of Fantasy 5 on a single ticket you will automatically receive a Fantasy 5 Bonus Bucks code. Enter the code at https://secondchance.calottery.com/second-chance/index/index/type/FANTASY5/ to participate in weekly draws for a chance to win cash prizes up to $10,000.

The mission of the California Lottery is to provide supplemental funding to California schools while simultaneously supporting local communities. More than 94 cents of every dollar spent by our players goes back to local communities in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation. Since 2000, Lottery players have contributed $1 billion to public schools each year, and, since we began in 1985, Lottery players have contributed a total of more than $24 billion to education. The California Lottery urges its customers to play responsibly and within their budgets. If you feel you have a gambling problem, or know someone who does, you can get help at 1-800-GAMBLER.
