Two POWERBALL® Tickets Worth $256,000 Remain Unclaimed!

SACRAMENTO –Two POWERBALL tickets sold in California last month that were just one number away from winning a jackpot still have not been claimed. The two lucky tickets correctly matched five out of six numbers in the May 15thth POWERBALL drawing and are worth $256,317 each.

One of the two winning tickets was sold at Capitol Shell, which is located at 1601 North Capitol Avenue in San Jose. The other winning ticket was sold at the Primm Valley Lotto Store off of I-15, just across the California border about 45 miles outside of Las Vegas. Both tickets successfully matched the numbers 2, 11, 26, 34, and 41, but missed the Powerball number 32.

The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their ticket, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.
