Two MEGA Millions® Tickets Are Worth $264,000 Each!
SACRAMENTO – This holiday weekend has started off with some luck for two MEGA Millions players as two tickets sold in California were just one number away from hitting last night’s $34 million MEGA Millions jackpot. The two lucky tickets correctly matched five out of six numbers and are worth $264,531 each.
One of the two winning tickets was sold at Daily Donuts, which is located at 18766 Amar Road in Walnut (Los Angeles County). The other winning ticket was sold at Adobe Liquors, which is located at 13800 San Pablo Avenue in San Pablo (Contra Costa County). Both tickets successfully matched the numbers 25-31-46-53-36, missing only the Mega number of 21.
No one matched all six numbers in last night’s draw, so Tuesday’s MEGA Millions jackpot is an estimated $42 million. The estimated cash value of the jackpot is $31 million.
The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their ticket, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.
