Palmdale $320,000 Mega Millions® Ticket Claimed!

Share:

SACRAMENTO – Julio Lemus is Palmdale’s latest lucky California Lottery player. That’s because he came forward today with his Mega Millions ticket that matched five out of six numbers to win a cool $320,061!

Lemus bought his ticket at Palmdale Liquor and JR Markets, which is located at 2270 East Palmdale Boulevard in Palmdale (Los Angeles County). The Quick Pick® ticket matched the numbers 39, 4, 70, 46 and 47, missing only the Mega number 13 in the April 15 Mega Millions drawing.

It’s been a win-filled two years in Palmdale! A Mega Millions ticket worth $470,000 was purchased last October and another Mega Millions ticket worth $219,000 was also purchased there in April 2013. The biggest win happened back in 2012 when one Palmdale player won $23 million playing SuperLotto Plus®.

The Mega Millions jackpot for tomorrow night’s draw is now worth an estimated $48 million.

Mega Millions is played in California (and 42 other states, plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands). Draw times are Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. PST. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers. Please visit the California Lottery’s Mega Millions site for more information on how to play.

The mission of the California Lottery is to provide supplemental funding to California schools while simultaneously supporting local communities. More than 95 cents of every dollar spent by our players goes back to local communities in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation. The California Lottery urges its customers to play responsibly and within their budgets. If you feel you have a gambling problem, or know someone who does, you can get help at 1-800-GAMBLER.
