Nine POWERBALL® Tickets Sold in California Worth $289K Each

Jackpot Tickets Sold in New Jersey (2) and Minnesota (1)

SACRAMENTO – While no California tickets matched all six numbers in tonight’s POWERBALL draw, nine tickets sold in our state did match five of six, missing only the Powerball number and are worth $289,341 each. Jackpot tickets were sold in New Jersey (2) and Minnesota (1) so the POWERBALL jackpot for Saturday night is $40 million. There is widespread interest in this game, and given how many secondary winners California produced, we thought your viewers, listeners and readers would want to know as soon as possible.

The nine tickets that matched five out of six numbers successfully matched the numbers 58, 5, 25, 59 and 30, missing only the Powerball number 32. These tickets were purchased at the following locations:

Camino Food Center located at 4124 Carson Road in Camino (El Dorado County)
Arden Town ampm located at 3501 Fair Oaks Boulevard in Sacramento (Sacramento County)
Lakewood Shell located at 1101 North Lawrence Expressway in Sunnyvale (Santa Clara County)
Ralphs Grocery located at 5680 Mission Center Road in San Diego (San Diego County)

The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their ticket, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes. The jackpot can be claimed for up to a year from the date of the POWERBALL draw.
