Only One Week Left for El Cajon MEGA Millions® Ticket Worth More Than $195,000
SACRAMENTO – 173 days have now passed since someone bought a MEGA Millions ticket in El Cajon and won a prize worth $195,910. Time to claim the ticket is running out fast, as it will expire on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 5 p.m.
The winning ticket was sold at Lakeside Shell, which is located at 13538 Camino Canada in El Cajon. The ticket matched five of six numbers – 8, 32, 31, 11, and 12, missing only the MEGA number of 29.
If the ticket is not claimed this week, a California Lottery representative will be at the Lakeside Shell June 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for media availability.
The California Lottery reminds each winner to sign the back of their ticket, keep the ticket in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days to claim their prize. Unclaimed funds are transferred to California schools.
MEGA Millions is a multistate game, played in California and 41 other states. Players pick five numbers from 1 to 56 plus a Mega number from 1 to 46. Draw times are Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. PST. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers.
