Winning Fantasy 5 Ticket Sold in Watsonville Worth More Than $200,000

SACRAMENTO – A California Lottery player who purchased a ticket in Watsonville for last night’s Fantasy 5 draw will soon have a lot more money in their bank account. That’s because their ticket matched all five numbers and is worth $204,117.

The numbers on the winning ticket are 38, 17, 21, 10, and 27. The ticket was purchased at the CVS Pharmacy located at 1966 Main Street in Watsonville.

The California Lottery reminds the winner to sign the back of the ticket, keep the ticket in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.

Fantasy 5 offers some of the best odds of any California Lottery game. A player wins the Fantasy 5 jackpot simply by matching five numbers out of a field of 39. Winning numbers are drawn every day. The top prize starts at $50,000 and increases daily until it is hit. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers.

The California Lottery is celebrating 25 years of enhancing education and supporting local communities. The Lottery contributes at least 87 cents of every dollar that players spend on Lottery products to public education and prizes. Since the Lottery’s inception in 1985, Lottery players have contributed nearly $22 billion to California schools out of total sales of more than $59 billion. Retailers benefit too, earning $3.8 billion in compensation since 1985.
