SACRAMENTO – Just days after one very lucky Lottery player in Calimesa, CA hit the $180 million Mega Millions® jackpot, another lucky player claimed their $26 million SuperLotto Plus® prize. That’s over $200 million in just a matter of days!
Miguel Angel Peraza claimed his $26 million SuperLotto Plus jackpot at the California Lottery’s Inland Empire District Office. Peraza’s SuperLotto Plus Quick Pick® ticket matched the numbers 16, 22, 27, 6, 32 and the Mega number 3. The estimated cash option amount for this jackpot is $15.7 million before federal taxes.
Peraza purchased the winning ticket at Sam’s Liquor, which is located at 9660 East Garvey Avenue in South El Monte (Los Angeles County). The lucky retailer was also a big winner because they will receive a bonus check of $130,000 just for selling the winning ticket!
Peraza wasn’t the only big winner in the area. Lottery players in Los Angeles County won more than $48 million in prizes for the week ending August 23. And we’re sure there will be many more winners to come next week too!
The Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of your ticket in ink, put it in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit your local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Jackpot winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim the jackpot prize.
