Two Fantasy 5 Tickets Split Nearly $400,000 Top Prize

Winners Purchased Tickets in Fort Bragg and Oxnard

SACRAMENTO – Now this is the way you start a work week. Time to hand out some money! Last night’s Fantasy 5 draw ended with two lucky people splitting the top prize of $396,718 after their tickets matched all five numbers – 6, 15, 24, 31 and 37.

And how fair is this? One of the tickets was sold in Northern California and the other in the Southland. That one was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 1901 N Oxnard Boulevard in Oxnard (Ventura County).

The other, we’re happy to report, was bought at Purity Supermarket, which is located at 242 N Franklin Street in Fort Bragg (Mendocino County).

“North” appears to be the lucky direction so far this week. Notice how it’s listed in the address of each winning location? Hmm, interesting! So get the word out – we want to write some checks. Happy Monday indeed!

The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their tickets, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.
