Norco Fantasy 5 $186,000 Winner Comes Forward!

Share:

Matching Ticket Purchased Two Miles Away In Corona Still Unclaimed

SACRAMENTO – Fred Link is a faithful Fantasy 5 player. In fact he makes trips just to buy Fantasy 5 tickets every week. That dedication paid off as he is one of two Inland Empire Fantasy 5 players who each won $186,645 in last night’s Fantasy 5 drawing.

The 69-year old Riverside County man, along with another winner who has not yet come forward, both matched the five winning numbers (23-33-31-36 and 25). The two tickets split the total payout of $373,290 from last night’s Fantasy 5 drawing.

Link purchased the ticket at McGrueder’s Liquor and Smoke Shop located at 1943 River Road in Norco (Riverside County). The other unclaimed Fantasy 5 ticket was purchased at Ravin’s Donuts, which is located at 774 N. Main Street in Corona (Riverside County).

As for the plans with the money, “I am going to buy my wife a new car and do some home improvements” said Link.

Fantasy 5 offers some of the best odds of any California Lottery game. A player wins the Fantasy 5 jackpot simply by matching five numbers out of a field of 39. Winning numbers are drawn every day. The top prize starts at $50,000 and increases daily until it is hit. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers.

The mission of the California Lottery is to provide supplemental funding to California schools while simultaneously supporting local communities. More than 96 cents of every dollar spent by our players goes back to local communities in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation. The California Lottery urges its customers to play responsibly and within their budgets. If you feel you have a gambling problem, or know someone who does, you can get help at 1-800-GAMBLER.
