Lottery Player Can’t Get Enough of Crossword Game
SACRAMENTO – You can say that Ignacio Valdovinos is a pretty big fan of the California Lottery’s 20x Crossword Scratchers ticket. So much so that he recently purchased one of the $10 tickets and doubled his money by winning $20. He decided to let it ride and with his $20 he bought two more 20x Crossword tickets. This time he only came away with a free ticket, so Valdovinos decided he’d keep it going and give the ticket one last shot. That last shot is now worth a cool $750,000!
Valdovinos said that as soon as he uncovered the 10th word on his ticket, he froze. He knew right away how much he had just won. “I’ve never won anything like that before,” he said. The married father of three said he plans on using his winnings to buy his family a nice little house.
Valdovinos purchased the winning ticket at La Canastita Market, which is located at 8224 Eastern Avenue in Bell Gardens (Los Angeles County).
