Southern CA Cashes in: Ticket Sold in San Diego Wins $11 Million SuperLotto Plus® Jackpot!

Ticket sold in San Bernardino County Wins Large POWERBALL® Prize

SACRAMENTO – Yes! We have some super-exciting news to share with you tonight. A lucky player who bought their ticket in San Diego matched all six numbers to win the $11 million SuperLotto Plus jackpot! That is a lot of money. We know you are going to want to check every last ticket if you bought one in that area.

Here’s what you need to know. The winning ticket was purchased at Golden Hill Liquor, which is located at 2795 B Street in San Diego. The winning numbers are 44, 46, 7, 5, 14, and Mega 27.

Golden Hill Liquor will receive a bonus of one half percent or $55,000 for selling the winning ticket. Jackpot winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim the jackpot prize. The estimated cash option amount for this win is $6.3 million.

In fact, people will be cashing in across the state because of tonight’s draw. In addition to the jackpot win, there were a total of 129,977 winning SuperLotto Plus tickets that will claim various lesser prizes. That includes four tickets that matched five numbers, minus the Mega number. Those tickets sold in Ventura (Ventura County), Huntington Beach (Orange County), Artesia (Los Angeles County), and Cypress (Orange County) will each claim $11,024.

There must be something in the water in Southern California, because along with all of those SLP wins, a ticket sold in San Bernardino County won a large prize in our new POWERBALL game. That ticket matched five numbers, missing only the Powerball number and is now worth $376,439 to whoever has it. That ticket was sold at Shop Rite Liquor, which is located at 4747 Riverside Drive in Chino. Tonight’s winning POWERBALL numbers were 37, 58, 14, 4, 12, and the Powerball number 13.

We will not know who won the SuperLotto Plus jackpot until they claim their ticket. If you are the jackpot or other large prize winner, the Lottery wants to remind you to sign your ticket, put it in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit your local Lottery District Office as soon as possible.

SuperLotto Plus is California’s own in-state jackpot game. Players pick five numbers from 1 to 47 plus a Mega number from 1 to 27. The draw takes place at Lottery Headquarters in Sacramento Wednesdays and Saturdays right after draw entry closes at 7:45 p.m. PST. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the more than 21,000 California Lottery retailers. Please visit the California Lottery’s SuperLotto Plus site for more information.
