Winner Turns in Fantasy 5 Ticket Sold in San Diego Worth More Than $167,000

SACRAMENTO – It took him a few days, but Rick Brown has now done what he needed to do in order to claim his big Fantasy 5 prize. During the draw on Monday, Brown’s ticket was one of two that hit all five numbers. The holders of each ticket split the top prize of $335,220, making Brown’s take worth $167,610.

Rick told us today was the first time his schedule finally allowed him to visit the Lottery’s San Diego District Office and he’s enjoying the moment. “I didn’t realize how good and happy you can feel,” he said.

Brown purchased his ticket at Corey’s Liquor, which is located at 3605 University Avenue in San Diego. His ticket successfully matched all five numbers – 3, 30, 2, 23 and 14. The other jackpot winning ticket was sold in Los Angeles and was claimed yesterday.
