Second Chance Pays Off Huge for Recent College Graduate

SACRAMENTO – You can say that Geraldine Rojas has a lot on her plate. She just graduated from college, where she earned her bachelor’s degree, and she is now working full-time…but she also has her sights set on going to medical school, which is a full-time job in itself. Well, you can now add multi-millionaire to her plate.

The California Lottery recently conducted an end-of-game draw for our Set for Life Scratchers® game where Rojas was randomly selected as the winner of a whopping $2 million! The young winner told us that she just wants to keep a good head on her shoulders and stay focused on her goals. She also said that her winnings would help her a great deal in achieving her main goal of graduating from medical school.

Thanks to the Lottery’s Replay Program, players who did not win a cash prize in their favorite Scratchers® game still have one last chance to win the top prize using the information from their non-winning ticket.

Remember, don’t throw your tickets away! The Lottery’s Replay Program gives players a second chance to win prizes with their non-winning Scratchers ticket codes. The rules are simple – players who purchase Scratchers tickets can enter their codes on the Lottery’s Replay website at for a second chance to win top prizes. Each ticket number can only be entered once.

The mission of the California Lottery is to provide supplemental funding to California schools while simultaneously supporting local communities. More than 96 cents of every dollar spent by our players goes back to local communities in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation. The California Lottery urges its customers to play responsibly and within their budgets. If you feel you have a gambling problem, or know someone who does, you can get help at 1-800-GAMBLER.
