Big Week for Southern California Lottery Players!
Two Lucky Players Win Prizes Worth $750,000 & $191,000
SACRAMENTO – It was a busy week for retailers and players across Southern California this week, as two lucky California Lottery players struck it rich.
The lucky California Lottery winners for the week in Southern California are:
• Paul Tran won the $750,000 top prize on a 20x Crossword Scratchers® ticket he purchased at Fiori’s Liquor, which is located at 9614 Lower Azura Road in Temple City (Los Angeles County); and
• Raymond Keys won $191,887 by matching all five winning numbers on a Fantasy 5 ticket he purchased at Palm Springs Market, which is located at 4301 Palm Avenue in La Mesa (San Diego County).
There could be more lucky Californians as tonight’s MEGA Millions® jackpot has grown to $95 million. And, not to be outdone, Saturday’s POWERBALL® jackpot is now at $203 million. Winning numbers for both games can be found at www.calottery.com shortly after the 7:59 p.m. draw
The mission of the California Lottery is to provide supplemental funding to California schools while simultaneously supporting local communities. More than 96 cents of every dollar spent by our players goes back to local communities in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation. The California Lottery urges its customers to play responsibly and within their budgets. If you feel you have a gambling problem, or know someone who does, you can get help at 1-800-GAMBLER.
