The Winning Across California Continues As MEGA Millions® & POWERBALL® Jackpots Grow!

Share:

SACRAMENTO – While all the talk this weekend will be about two of the California Lottery’s most exciting draw games, MEGA Millions and POWERBALL, plenty of players cashed in big time on games across the state, including these three lucky California State Lottery players:

• Angel Rodriguez  won $555,690 by matching five of six numbers on a POWERBALL ticket purchased at D & S Gas and Mini Mart, which is located at 3853 Santa Fe Avenue in Le Grand (Merced County);

• James Roberts won $555,690 by matching five of six numbers on a POWERBALL ticket purchased at Power Discount Store, which is located at 325 West 5th Street in Los Angeles; and

• Eric Chambers won $180,521 by matching all five numbers on a Fantasy 5 ticket purchased at Terry’s Liquor, which is located at 1221 Lynwood Drive in San Bernardino.

There could be more lucky Californians starting tonight, as the MEGA Millions jackpot has grown to $119 million. And, not to be outdone, Saturday’s POWERBALL jackpot is now at $317 million. Winning numbers for both games can be found at www.calottery.com shortly after the 7:59 p.m. draw times.

The mission of the California Lottery is to provide supplemental funding to California schools while simultaneously supporting local communities. More than 96 cents of every dollar spent by our players goes back to local communities in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation. The California Lottery urges its customers to play responsibly and within their budgets. If you feel you have a gambling problem, or know someone who does, you can get help at 1-800-GAMBLER.
