Contestants Win a Total of $130,000 on “The Big Spin®” Show


SACRAMENTO – Contestants from across the state won a total of $130,000 during this weekend’s “The Big Spin®” show. Big Spin show hosts Maiquel Alejo and Pat Finn conducted a candid interview Viesta Hunter from Yucca Valley, who won $3 million in July, 2004 and Aurelia Macias from Seaside who won $1 million in December 2004.

In an exclusive interview, Maiquel and Pat asked both Viesta and Aurelia how there lives have changed since becoming millionaires. Viesta said that she has been able to buy a car, help her family and her church. Aurelia said she is very happy and grateful to have won $1 million. She bought her daughter a car and she plans to invest in an apartment building in Las Vegas. 

 The only player at the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” was Jennifer Acosta, a maintenance and operations employee from El Monte, who was ecstatic to win $100,000! Ms. Acosta, who buys her tickets at Michall’s Liquor in Glendale, said, “I’m going to have fun investing my winnings.”

Luci Orme of Redondo Beach purchased her Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Redondo Food Mart in Redondo and uncovered Spin-Spin-Spin when she scratched it. After spinning the largest lottery wheel in the world, Ms. Orme won $30,000, and said, “It was awesome to spin the wheel and I plan to take a vacation to Las Vegas with my winnings.”
