Santa Clara MEGA Millions® Ticket Worth $215,000 Still Unclaimed After Five Months!
SACRAMENTO – Just under a month remains for one lucky MEGA Millions player to turn in their winning ticket and claim a $215,136 prize. The winning ticket sold in Santa Clara was just one number away from hitting the $56 million MEGA Millions jackpot that was up for grabs on the night of April 9.
That winning ticket was sold at the Safeway located at 3970 Rivermark Plaza in Santa Clara. The ticket successfully matched the numbers 54-17-30-41-48, missing only the Mega number of 13.
If the ticket is not claimed by the end of the business day on Monday, October 7, the unclaimed prize money will be transferred to California public education.
The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their ticket, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes.
MEGA Millions is a multistate game, played in California and 44 other jurisdictions (42 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands).
