Carpenter “Strikes It Rich” and Wins $250,000!

SACRAMENTO – Ivan Palacios admittedly loves playing Scratchers® games. It doesn’t matter which kind, he loves them all. But after today, it’s pretty safe to say that Strike It Rich! is his all-time favorite. Palacios walked into the Lottery’s Van Nuys District Office today holding a Strike It Rich! Scratchers ticket worth $250,000!

Palacios went to the same retailer where he always buys his tickets – Penny Saver Liquor, which is located at 4507 West Artesia Boulevard in Lawndale (Los Angeles County).

When asked what he plans on doing with his winnings, Palacios said he really doesn’t know what he’ll do with the money yet, but one thing is for sure, he’s going to invest it.

The California Lottery’s Strike It Rich! Scratchers ticket is part of the Lottery’s continued effort to give out more prizes, create more winners and earn more money for education.
