The Lottery’s new age and ID verificiation program has been delayed. We will let you know when a new date has been set. In anticipation of this new program, please ensure the information within your account is up-to-date and continue submitting codes for more ways to win.
The CA Lottery will undergo a thorough review of all registered player accounts. Part of this review will use age/identity verification technology to validate players’ legal name, address and date of birth. This verification is important because when processing claims for Lottery prizes, the CA Lottery is required to compare exact user account profile information, including date of birth, against your government-issued ID.
To ensure the integrity of your account and participate in registered player benefits like 2nd Chance and Jackpot Captain, players will have to provide the following:
• Full legal name (First and Last Name)
• Valid California street address (Including City, State and Zip Code)
• Date of Birth
Once the new age and ID verification program begins, players must update and verify their account information in order to submit ticket codes into 2nd Chance drawings and enter Jackpot Captain promotions.
If you are having problems with the identity verification, the Lottery website will provide you with additional information as you update your account.
