MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT AT $192,000,000

SACRAMENTO, CA – What would you do with $192 million? Would you buy diamonds?  Would you buy yourself a remote island?  Would you set yourself up to be debt free for the rest of your life? You can entertain those thoughts while buying your MEGA Millions ticket for Friday night’s $192 million jackpot.

The jackpot remains up for grabs, given that no player within the twelve MEGA Millions states selected the winning combination of numbers (28, 18, 21, 36, 5, and MEGA number 20) from Tuesday night’s draw.  However, thousands of players in California did win prizes: 10 players won more than $7,176 each matching 4 numbers plus the MEGA number.  “In total, 128,375 tickets won prizes ranging from two dollars to $372,017”, said Rosa Escutia, Director of Public Relations.

A lucky player, who wins $192 million, would receive equal payments of approximately $7.4 million a year (before taxes) for the next 26 years.  A California retailer who sells the winning jackpot ticket worth $192 million would receive a bonus of $960,000 for selling the winning ticket.

To purchase your MEGA Millions ticket for Friday’s draw go to any of the more than 18,000 Lottery retailers in California by 7:45 p.m.  Are you having trouble deciding which lotto game to play?  Try a “California Combo”, the fun option that gives players 5 MEGA Millions plays and 5 SuperLOTTO Plus® plays with a single purchase!
