SACRAMENTO – Okay people, this is getting serious! Search your couch cushions, look in your glove box, check all your pants pockets – it has been FIVE MONTHS since a Powerball ticket sold in Los Angeles matched five of six numbers to win a prize worth $465,539 – yet it remains unclaimed. If no one comes forward, the ticket will expire at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013 and the prize will be added to the contribution to education for this fiscal year.
The winning ticket was sold at Whitley Heights Market, which is located at 1900 North Highland Avenue in Los Angeles. The ticket successfully matched the numbers 31-35-41-9-57, missing only the Powerball number of 26.

Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes. This ticket will expire November 18, 2013 at 5 p.m. if it goes unclaimed and the prize money will be transferred to California schools.
