La Mesa Player Wins $3.25 Million On Newest Scratchers® Game!

Kevin Boson 440

SACRAMENTO – Kevin Boson has a method to playing California Lottery Scratchers tickets. “I go to all different stores when I buy tickets,” the retired truck driver told the California Lottery. That approach made Boson one of California’s newest millionaires this week when he won the top prize of $3.25 million on a $5 California Lucky Life Scratchers ticket.

The La Mesa resident has been pretty lucky in his life before! Boson says he won $2,000 on a Daily 4 ticket and $1,000 on another California Lottery Scratchers ticket in the past.

“I couldn’t believe when I scratched off to reveal the ‘LIFE’ symbol”, Boson said. He plans on taking the annuity option which will pay him $2,500 per week for the next 25 years. He told the California Lottery that he plans on buying another house and paying off the car he just bought.

Boson purchased his winning $5 California Lucky Life ticket at the 7-Eleven, located at 7602 University Avenue in La Mesa (San Diego County).

The California Lucky Life Scratchers family is part of the Lottery’s continued effort to give out more prizes, create more winners and earn more money for education. For more information on the game and how to play, click here.
