Money in the Bank for One Contra Costa County Winner

Share:

Luis May-Dzul 440

SACRAMENTO – Luis May-Dzul couldn’t stop giggling as he sat at the California Lottery’s Sacramento District Office. The 25-year-old was probably giddy at the thought of all the things he could now do after hitting it big. Luis walked into the Sacramento office holding a top prize-winning Bonus Crossword Scratchers® ticket worth $750,000!

We asked Luis how he felt being a big winner, and he said he was “happy and very content” - which was followed by more giggling. We also asked him what he planned on doing with the money, and he told us that he just wanted to “put it in the bank.”  He did tell us later that he’d like to buy himself a new car, specifically a Nissan 350z with all the bells and whistles.

Luis purchased his winning ticket at Danville Wine & Liquor, which is located at 177 Hartz Avenue in Danville (Contra Costa County). Click here for information on how to play Bonus Crossword Scratchers.

The winning certainly doesn’t stop there – like all Lottery Scratchers games, the Bonus Crossword game comes with a second chance to win the top prize. Just subscribe to our 2nd Chance Program and submit any non-winning Bonus Crossword Scratchers ticket codes for another chance to win. The game is part of the Lottery’s continued effort to give out more prizes, create more winners and earn more money for California public schools.

The mission of the California Lottery is to provide supplemental funding to California schools while simultaneously supporting local communities. More than 95 cents of every dollar spent by our players goes back to local communities in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation. The California Lottery urges its customers to play responsibly and within their budgets. If you feel you have a gambling problem, or know someone who does, you can get help at 1-800-GAMBLER.
