Retiree Claims $23 Million SuperLotto Plus® Ticket Sold in South San Francisco
SACRAMENTO – Robert Imbellino celebrated a wonderful Christmas with his family. It wasn’t until two days later he found out he was the winner of the $23 million SuperLotto Plus jackpot from December 22, 2012. Imagine the happy New Year he’ll have!
Imbellino didn’t realize he had won until a friend called and asked if he had checked his tickets yet. He was able to share the news with his family, although, he says, “We laughed a lot but I think it was because we were all in shock.” Being as he just found out last night that he was a winner, he hasn’t made plans on how he’ll spend his prize yet.
Imbellino purchased his winning ticket at Sunshine Center Pharmacy, which is located at 1166 Mission Road in South San Francisco. The winning numbers were 39-12-20-32-7 and the Mega number 20, which Imbellino chose as a QuickPick. Sunshine Center Pharmacy will receive a bonus of one half percent, or $115,000, for selling the winning ticket.
