Media Alert: News Conference to Introduce $2.3 Million POWERBALL® Winner!

SACRAMENTO – This is to alert you that the winner of a $2.3 million POWERBALL prize has come forward to claim their ticket. The winner and the winner’s family will share their story during a news conference TOMORROW.

What:    $2.3 million POWERBALL winner
When:    Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. (TOMORROW)

This winning POWERBALL ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven located at 2440 Almaden Expressway in San Jose (Santa Clara County). It matched five numbers, missing only the Powerball number in the historic draw on Saturday, May 18, 2013. The ticket successfully matched the numbers 22, 10, 13, 14, 52, missing only the Powerball number 11. No additional details about this winner will be released until the scheduled news conference.
