SACRAMENTO – Shonda Banks is a house manager at a drug & alcohol rehabilitation facility. The Oakland resident beat out nine other contestants for her turn at the Big Spin prize wheel which shouldn’t seem odd since she is one of 21 children! Banks won $100,000. She plans to help her mom and daughter out with her prize and, “Go to Disneyland,” she exclaimed! The latest episode of the Big Spin show aired Saturday, September 13. The grand total won by all contestants was $262,5
00.
There was a threesome of Fantasy 5 Dream Machine contestants on this week’s show. First up was Betty Jones, a retired business owner from Torrance. She plans to share her $65,000 prize with her family. Next, Robert O’Brien, a realty appraiser from Sacramento, took his turn at the Dream Machine. O’Brien won $45,000 and plans to take care of himself and his environment by taking a trip to Maui and buying a hybrid car. Calvin Sinclair was the final contestant at the Dream Machine.
