SACRAMENTO – On The Big Spin show this week four contestants won a total of $325,000. The show aired statewide Saturday, September 1, 2007. This week a total of $347,500 was won by Big Spin contestants!
Rosendo Gomez is being extra nice to his sister these days. She gave him a winning Scratchers® ticket that sent him directly to the big wheel giving him a chance to win up to $3 million. Gomez, a real estate appraiser from San Mateo, first landed on “TRIPLE” and after recovering from the excitement he then spun again landing on “$50,000” giving him a grand total of $150,000! He’s obviously going to share his winnings with his sister and invest in his children’s education.
Donald Parrott, a retiree from Cudahy,
has always wanted to travel around the country on the Amtrak train. Parrott played Fantasy 5 Dream Machine and winning $75,000. “I’m buying a brand new truck before I hop on that train,” said Parrott. Eleanor Taylor, another retiree from Lakeside, also played Fantasy 5 Dream Machine. Taylor walked away with $40,000 which she plans to spend on home improvements. “I might take a trip to the Sierras to relax and fish,” expressed Taylor.
Alannah Robinson, an accounting/financial assistant from Sacramento, was lucky enough to outplay nine other contestants in Aces High to get to The Big Spin Wheel. Robinson, a Canada native, won $60,000! “I would love to visit Los Angeles again and travel home to Canada to visit family and friends,” explained Robinson.
