SACRAMENTO – This week on The Big Spin show four contestants won a total of $205,000. The show aired statewide Saturday, June 30, 2007, and a total of $302,500 was won.

This week two contestants played Fantasy 5 Dream Machine. First was Marge LeClair of Camarillo. LeClair, married 62 years, has big plans for her $65,000 prize, “I’m remodeling my kitchen and taking a
cruise to the Mediterranean.” Since she normally doesn’t play too much she said, “It was the luck of the Irish!” Next up was from Wilmington. When she found out that she was going to be on The Big Spin she couldn’t stop jumping up and down! Pontod, a machine operator, knows exactly what she’s doing with her $70,000 windfall, “I’m helping out my daughter and I’m going to spoil my grandbaby that hasn’t even been born yet!”
Victor Olivera of Santa Monica outplayed nine other contestants on Aces High giving him the opportunity to win up to $3,000,000. After spinning The Big Spin wheel he won $25,000. When asked what he wanted to do with his winnings he replied, “Just save, save, save!”

Public education in California receives at least 34 cents of every dollar players spend on Lottery products. The California Lottery contributed a record $1.28 billion to public education in 2005-06 out of historic sales of $3.58 billion, the sixth year in a row the Lottery has provided more than $1 billion in supplemental funding for education. Since the Lottery began in 1985, it has contributed more than $18 billion to California schools.
