SACRAMENTO – On this day when everyone’s a little Irish, a trip to Ireland might be in the future of one of these contestants, seeing as traveling seems to be on the wish list for most of the contestants on this week’s Big Spin! This show aired statewide Saturday, March 17, 2007.
Marjorie Dejohnette, a legal assistant from Altadena, could not believe her eyes when she uncovered a SPIN-SPIN-SPIN ticket that sent her directly to the wheel. Her spin landed her on the $60,000 slot! “I plan to help out my brother and travel throughout the United States,” said Dejohnette.
Richard “Guerry” Pirtle, a realtor from Los Angeles, won $65,000 playing Fantasy 5 Dream Machine. He isn’t sure if he is going to travel or pursue his pilot’s license. “Maybe I’ll do both,” exclaimed Pirtle. Another lucky Fantasy 5 player is Raymond Krassel, a retired resident of Gustine. “I’m going to move my sister out to California from Chicago,” said Krassel after winning $60,000. What a great brother!
Soumaya Awad, from Cerritos, never thought she could outplay nine other contestants in Aces High. She went to The Big Spin wheel and won $60,000! “After I help my three children I plan to travel,” said Awad.
