Lottery awards Redondo Beach business with Retailer of the Month honor

WHAT:	Retailer of the Month ceremony honoring Paul’s Liquor of Redondo Beach as the California State Lottery’s Retailer of the Month for November, 2006.
WHEN:	Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 10:30 a.m.
WHERE:	Paul’s Liquor 2220 Artesia Blvd Redondo Beach, CA
RETAILER HISTORY:	Paul’s Liquor has been part of the California State Lottery retail network since August of 1995 and is owned by Paul Salmo. Lottery sales at the store average more than $10,000 per week. Since becoming a lottery retailer, Paul’s Liquor has sold more than $3.3 million in Lottery products and consequently helped contribute nearly $1.1 million to California’s public schools.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:	Owner Paul Salmo and his employees are also very supportive of their community, contributing funding for local churches and youth athletic teams.
