SACRAMENTO – The California State Lottery announced today that a single ticket sold in South Pasadena has matched all the winning numbers for Wednesday’s $110 million SuperLOTTO Plus® jackpot. The winning numbers are 2, 9, 12, 20, 34 and MEGA 16.
The jackpot ticket was purchased at Foremost Liquor Market in South Pasadena. The lucky winner has not yet come forward to claim the jackpot worth $110 million, the 6th highest in California Lottery history.
For the $110 million jackpot, annual payments would begin at $2.75 million and will graduate to more than $5.6 million by the 26th year (before taxes). If the winner chooses the cash option, the winner would receive a lump sum of roughly half the jackpot amount or about $57 million.
Foremost Liquor Market is set to receive a $550,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Schools receive 34 cents of every ticket sold and with a jackpot of this size that means $64 million will go to education. This past year, the California Lottery contributed over $1.2 billion to public education and has provided more than $1 billion annually to California schools for the last six years.
SuperLOTTO Plus can be played at approximately 18,500 retail businesses around California. The SuperLOTTO Plus draw takes place each Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:58 p.m. Players may purchase tickets until 7:45 p.m. on the night of the draw.
