Contestants Take Home $280,000 from The Big Spin® Show

Sookdeo SinghSACRAMENTO – The Big Spin Show made this Labor Day weekend an exciting one by sending happy contestants home with $280,000. The show aired statewide September 2, 2006.

For two of the lucky winners, their prize will be spent on a new car.  Sookdeo (Bob) Singh, an investment banking consultant from Los Angeles, pocketed $90,000 playing the Fantasy 5 Dream Machine.  With his winnings, Mr. Singh wants to pay bills, buy a Hummer H2 or BMW and, of course, buy gas for his new car.  Glenna Cline, an apartment manager from Lemon Grove, plans to also buy a new car with her prize.  She has her exterminator to thank for her Big Spin appearance, it was he who gave her the Fantasy 5 coupon to send in, and a $20,000 prize from the William ClowesFantasy 5 Dream Machine. Ms. Cline was on the road moving to Virginia when her daughter called her about a California Lottery notice to appear on The Big Spin Show. She turned around right away and, after her run of luck in California, is now reconsidering her relocation plans. At the very least, she said, “I owe my exterminator a very nice dinner.” Ms. Cline also plans to buy a Ford Explorer and take care of her three grandchildren.

As for William Clowes from La Mesa who took a trip to The Big Spin wheel and won $75,000, his options are wide-open. “I’ll get to do whatever I want!” he exclaimed. Ruby Taylor, a nurse from Compton, who also spun the wheel, had more definite plans. “I’ll pay off my church dues and help my grandson go to college,” she said after her $50,000 win.
