High Temps Outside Lead to Hot Streak Inside on the “Dream Machine”

Michael ShannonSACRAMENTO – California has been riding a heat wave during the month of July and all that heat must have triggered a hot streak inside this week on The Big Spin® Show.  California State Lottery contestants were red hot, winning a total of $257,500 on The Big Spin Show which aired statewide Saturday, July 29.

Three contestants heated up the Fantasy 5 Dream Machine as they tried for a grand prize of $150,000.  Michael Shannon, an auditor from Sacramento, was no stranger to the “Dream Machine,” having won $95,000 in 2004.  This time, he pocketed an impressive $90,000 and plans on using part of the winnings to take his grandkids to Disneyland.  Austin Susan MathewsonBellamy, a postal clerk from Los Angeles won a very satisfying $60,000.  A money minded person, Bellamy plans to invest in real estate and take a trip, hopefully to somewhere cooler.  Susan Mathewson, a caregiver from Thousand Oaks finished up the winning on the “Dream Machine” taking home $60,000 as well.  She’d like to pay off her mortgage and buy a new handicap accessible van for her father.

In Aces High, Elizabeth Cercone from Ontario, outplayed nine others to spin the biggest lottery prize wheel in the world.  Cercone allowed her daughter Cindy to do the honors, earning $25,000 in the process.  Cercone wants to spend all her winnings on her family.
