Good Things Comes in Threes, Great Things Come By Way of the ‘Triple’ Slot

Warren WongSACRAMENTO – It has been said that good things come in threes and this week, good things come courtesy of the triple space.  That was the theme of this weekend’s wins, as California State Lottery contestants won a total of $497,500 on “The Big Spin®” Show which aired statewide Saturday, July 22.

Warren Wong, a shoe repairman from San Francisco, outlasted nine other Aces High players to spin the big wheel.  He took home a massive $225,000 thanks to landing on the triple space.  Wong was more than a little shocked to say the least. A new father, the only thing he could think about was spending the money on his 8 month old child.

Ann JohnsonThe celebration was by no means over as Ann Johnson, a trade show worker from Los Angeles, celebrated her birthday by spinning the big wheel to land on a triple space herself.  This valuable multiplication netted her an impressive $180,000 prize.  A Big Spin winner for the second time, having previously won $1,500, Johnson said she plans to take a vacation and help out her grandkids in college.

The wins kept on coming as Bobby Richardson, a detention officer and former Fantasy 5 winner from Compton, played the “Dream Machine” to the tune of $70,000.  With his last set of winnings, Richardson spoiled his friends and family.  This time, the money is all his and he plans on buying a new car.
