Experience The Ultimate Summer Vacation By Winning The $76 Million Superlotto Plus® Jackpot

SACRAMENTO – As the summer heats up and the mercury rises, California Lottery officials announced the SuperLOTTO Plus® jackpot has rolled to $76 million for tonight’s draw.

Summer officially starts today and this sizzling hot jackpot may be the perfect chance for the lucky winner to experience the ultimate summer vacation. For example, avoid the long lines at the airport and buy your own private Bombardier/Challenger jet for $8.75 million. The Bombardier/Challenger 601-1A/ER jet seats nine with a range of club seats and a three-person divan in the rear and forward cabins. The jet’s entertainment center features an Airshow 200 Moving Map with a worldwide database, a video monitor, two CD/DVD Players, a CD/XM Receiver, and two widescreen LCD monitors.

You can set your destination to your own private island getaway in the middle of the Caribbean – a Belizean tropical island can be had for as little as $7 million.

Or, for the ultimate exotic summer vacation, blast off to the final frontier, space, for $20 million. The $20 million price tag includes a six-month training course and a ride aboard the Soyuz Russian Rocket to the International Space Station.

The winner isn’t going to be the only one who will be celebrating the summer. California education and businesses will also have a reason to smile. A retailer who sells a single winning $76 million ticket will receive a $380,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.  Education sees 34 cents of every ticket sold and with a jackpot of this size, that will be approximately $45 million. Last year, the California Lottery contributed more than $1.1 billion to education and has provided more than $1 billion annually to California schools for the last five years.

SuperLOTTO Plus can be played at approximately 18,000 retail business establishments around California.  The SuperLOTTO Plus draw takes place each Wednesday and Saturday night at 7:58 p.m.  Players may purchase tickets until 7:45 p.m. on the night of the draw.
