Carmel Waiter Serves up a $100,000 Prize

Suchart KeosaardSACRAMENTO - As the summer of 2006 started, The Big Spin® continued to sizzle as contestants won a total of $322,500 on the show which aired statewide June 24th, 2006.

Judi SchmidtSuchart Keosaard, a waiter from Carmel outplayed nine other Aces High contestants to spin the big wheel, capitalizing on the opportunity, to win a $100,000 prize. A father of five, Keosaard, will give most of his newfound fortune to his children to use for their educations. With the rest, Keosaard says, "Maybe we’ll do something fun."

At the Fantasy 5 Dream Machine, two contestants vied for the top prize of $150,000. Judi Schimdt, an aspiring screenwriter from North Hollywood won a whopping $90,000. She plans to pay off her bills and take a trip to Australia. Terry Gee, a restaurant owner from Cerritos, took away eight times what he won in his previous appearance at the Dream Machine in 1999, taking home an impressive $80,000. As he left the stage Gee was asked what his win meant. His response, "Thank you, Merry Christmas, I’m retiring!"

Donté Churchill, waiter from Hercules, spun his way to $30,000 on the big wheel. He plans to put his winnings towards his family and some bills.
