Does the Luck of the Irish Strike the Big Spin?

Manual MunizSACRAMENTO – California State Lottery players won a total of $92,500 on “The Big Spin®” show that aired statewide Saturday, March 18, 2006. 

Manuel Muniz, from San Jacinto, stopped by his local Arco convenience store for a cup of coffee and decided to buy one Big Spin Scratchers® ticket.  It was a wise investment as Muniz uncovered Spin-Spin-Spin earning a direct trip to the wheel and a chance to win up to $3 million.  With 15 family members in the audience, Muniz walked away with $25,000.  Not a bad end to his $1 dollar investment.

Arturo EsparzaIn this week’s Fantasy 5 Dream Machine there was one contestant for the top prize of $150,000.  Sharon Allen, a clerk from Los Angeles was so excited when she found out she would be playing the Dream Machine, she screamed.  Don’t worry, Sharon composed herself and played her way to $20,000.  She plans on using her winnings to furnish her new home and then help out her family.   

Arturo Esparza, a carpenter from North Hollywood, outplayed nine other Aces High contestants to win $25,000. He plans to use the money to put a down payment on a new house.  The only thing he has left to figure out is “Where”?
