Riverside Steel Worker Finishes Swing Shift and Gets a Real Bonus

Kenneth AndersonSACRAMENTO - California State Lottery players won a total of $222,500 on "The Big Spin®" show that aired statewide Saturday, February 25, 2006.

Kylie BevansKenneth Anderson, from Riverside, got off the swing shift and stopped at TJ Mart on his way home. He bought five Big Spin Scratchers® tickets and on the fifth one, uncovered Spin-Spin-Spin earning him a direct trip to the wheel. Anderson won $60,000 and says he wants to take a trip to Rome and take care of his family with his prize.

Aurora BernabeIn this week’s Fantasy 5 Dream Machine there were two contestants playing for the top prize of $150,000. Kylie Bevans, a bus driver from Los Angeles won $65,000 and plans to send her parents on a long vacation to their native country of Belize. John McCallum, an Athletic Equipment Manager and single dad from Santa Rosa, won $25,000 and wants to take a trip to Maui. He also plans to set up a college scholarship in his father’s name.

Aurora Bernabe, a hairstylist from Lancaster, outplayed nine other Aces High contestants to win $50,000. She plans to travel to Hawaii to visit her daughter who is in the Navy and stationed there.
