SACRAMENTO -- Fourteen California State Lottery players had a chance to win more than $6 million on "The Big Spin®" show that aired statewide Saturday, February 4, 2006.
James Collins, a social worker from Oakland, bought a Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Gas City and uncovered Spin-Spin-Spin when he scratched it. This earned him a direct trip to the wheel where he could win up to $3 million. "I thought it was just another $2 winner," said Collins.
There were three contestants playing the "Fantasy 5 Dream Machine" on this week’s show. They were Sandra Hamilton from Carmichael, Harlan Lasley from Cottonwood, and Zeyad Elgelda from Daly City. Each played for a top prize of $150,000.
From the group of 10 contestants playing "Aces High," one lucky player could have advanced to the wheel and won as much as $3 million. The ten contestants competing on this show are; Shana Lopez from Lemoore, James Bozajian from Calabasas, Levon Khalulyan from Panorama City, Betty Redmon from Vallejo, Yeni Santos from Oakland, Joseph Yunson from Richmond, Kathy Constantino from La Crescenta, Rhonda Bilinski from Yorba Linda, Jarir Nakoud from Granada Hills and Eduardo Munizaga from Carson.
