Contestants Win a Total of $157,500 on “The Big Spin®” Show

Richard MessinaSACRAMENTO – The Holidays are even more special for the contestants from throughout California who won a total of $157,500 during this weekend’s “The Big Spin®” show that aired Saturday, December 24, 2005.

The sole “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” player was Richard Messina, a printer from El Monte, who was happy to win $75,000.  Messina buys his Fantasy 5 tickets at Jolly Jug in El Monte.  “I’m going to use my winnings to pay off bills,” said Messina. 
 
From the “Aces High” round, Theresa Zuehlke, a Nellie Ruizcertified nurse’s assistant from Napa won the opportunity to spin the wheel.  Ms. Zuehlke bought her Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Alamo Gas/Food and Car Wash in Vacaville and uncovered TV Show -TV Show -TV Show.  This earned her a trip to “The Big Spin” show and won her $40,000 after spinning the wheel.  “I really enjoyed the whole show!  It was an awesome experience,” said Zuehlke.

Nellie Ruiz, a customer service representative from Los Angeles purchased a Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Green Mill Liquor and uncovered Spin-Spin-Spin when she scratched it.  This earned her a direct trip to the wheel where she earned a prize of $20,000.  “Third time’s a charm, this was my third time to ever buy a ticket,” said Ruiz.
