SACRAMENTO – Contestants from throughout California won a total of $187,500 during this weekend’s “The Big Spin®” show that aired Saturday, October 29, 2005.
The sole “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” player was Gloria Flores, a social worker from Vacaville, who was happy to win $65,000. Ms. Flores, who buys her Fantasy 5 tickets at Fairmont Liquors in Vacaville, said, “I’m going to use my winnings for my grandchildren’s education.”
Juanita Cunningham, a homemaker from Riverside purchased a 
Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Albertson’s in Riverside and uncovered Spin-Spin-Spin when she scratched it. This earned her a direct trip to the wheel and a prize of $50,000. “I plan to share my winnings with my family,” said Cunningham.
From the “Aces High” round, Rhonda Gilmore from Rosamond won the opportunity to spin the wheel. Ms. Gilmore bought her Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Quick Stuff in Rosamond and uncovered TV Show -TV Show -TV Show. This earned her a trip to “The Big Spin” show and won her $50,000 after spinning the wheel. “I really enjoyed the whole show! It was an awesome experience,” said Gilmore.
