SACRAMENTO – California State Lottery players were excited to win a total of $322,500 on “The Big Spin®” show that aired Saturday, October 15, 2005.
J. D. Gann, a retiree from Bakersfield was the first contestant on this week’s show to win at the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine.” Gann won $95,000 and said, “This was a great experience for me and my family!” He purchased his Fantasy 5 tickets at 7-Eleven in Bakersfield.
Continuing the excitement at the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” was Stephen Cubach, from Chatsworth who won $75,000. “This money will really help pay for my mother’s medical care,” said Cubach. He purchased his tickets at 7-Eleven in Chatsworth.
Wrapping up the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” excitement was Darren Wolcott from Citrus Heights who won $55,000. “I had a great time! I plan to share my winnings with my family,” said Wolcott. He purchased his tickets at Jan’s Cocktail Lounge in Orangevale.
Chanell Mucker, a bank teller from Gardena purchased a Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at King’s Liquor & Deli and uncovered Spin-Spin-Spin when she scratched it. After spinning the largest lottery wheel in the world, Ms. Mucker won $50,000, and said, “I plan to use my winnings towards a family vacation.”
Ending the show was Rosa Jimenez, a supervisor from Thermal, who was the contestant that won the opportunity to spin the wheel from the “Aces High” round. Ms. Jimenez, who bought her Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Arco AM/PM, spun the wheel for $25,000. “This is nice! This money is really going to help our family,” said Jimenez.
