SACRAMENTO – Contestants from across the state won a total of $247,500 during this weekend’s “The Big Spin®” show.
The first player at the “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” was Harold Ramsey, a retiree from Hemet, who assigned his sister-in-law, Nancy Dunchok, to play in his place. Ms. Dunchok won her brother-in-law $75,000. Rumsey buys his Fantasy 5 tickets at Stater Brothers in Hemet. The second player to challenge the Fantasy 5 Dream Machine was Shlomo Ashash, a contractor from Los Angeles who won $75,000. Ashash, who bought his tickets at Town & Country Newstand in Los Angeles, plans to buy a new Mercedes Benz with his winnings.
Spinning the largest game wheel in the world was Salma Amaya who spun the wheel for Carol Bell, a retiree from Clovis. Ms. Amaya’s spin netted Ms. Bell a $50,000 prize. Ms. Bell who bought her Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Oak Park Liquor in Pleasant Hill, uncovered Spin-Spin-Spin and earned a direct trip to the wheel.
From the “Aces High” round, Russell Bachmann from Hesperia won the right to spin “The Big Spin” wheel. Bachmann bought his Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at 7-Eleven in Sylmar and uncovered TV Show -TV Show -TV Show and earned a trip to “The Big Spin” show and spun the wheel for $25,000. “What an amazing experience! I didn’t expect to win this much money,” said Bachmann.
