SACRAMENTO – Contestants from across the state won a total of $327,500 during this weekend’s “The Big Spin®” show.
Cory Schuessler, a student from Diamond Bar purchased a Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Party House Liquor in Chino Hills and uncovered Spin-Spin-Spin when he scratched it. After spinning the largest lottery wheel in the world, Schuessler won $120,000, and said, “I plan to use my winnings towards a down payment on a home.”
From the “Aces High” round, Ismael Ruano, a salesperson from Lynwood won the opportunity to spin “The Big Spin” wheel. Ruano bought his Big Spin Scratchers® ticket at Lynmart Liquor in Lynwood and uncovered TV Show -TV Show -TV Show and earned a trip to “The Big Spin” show for a $120,000 spin at the wheel. “It was an awesome experience! I plan to buy a new car and travel to Mexico with my winnings,” said Ruano.
The sole “Fantasy 5 Dream Machine” player was Manuel Ayerdis, a construction worker from Long Beach, who was happy to win $65,000. Ayerdis, who buys his tickets at Chevron #1914 in Long Beach, said, “I’m going to take my wife on a Caribbean cruise with my winnings.”
